Tina Fey wants Timberlake

Tina Fey and Justin Timberlake are two of the winners at Saturday's Creative Arts Emmys in 2009. During this event, Tina mentioned that she would like getting the singer-turned-actor to join her show. “We should track him down. He’d be good.” said Tina Fey. "I'm sure he'd totally do it - he's not busy."

Justin Timberlake won an Emmy Award for his performance on Saturday Night Live, while Tina Fey's 30 Rock took home 5 of the nomination it was put under. Fey claims that she's a huge fan of Justin's acting career and even if he'd be busy at the moment it would be great to have him some other time. The actress even launched a campaign to persuade Justin to join the series.

The show has enjoyed a string of guest stars including Whoopi Goldberg, Jennifer Aniston, Mary J. Blige, Oprah Winfrey and Salma Hayek. Betty White was chosen to appear as herself on the upcoming season. If Timberlake was funny enough for Saturday Night Live then he might be funny enough for 30 Rock as well.

We know how 30 Rock does great comedy with their guest stars so we're sure hoping that the Six-time Grammy champ will jump at the chance.

Tina Fey is a highly appreciated comedian, actress and writer, best known for her work on Saturday Night Live. She was born Elizabeth Tina Fey to Donald Fey, a university grant-proposal writer and Zenobia a brokerage employee. Tina grew up in Philadelphia suburbs where she enrolled at the University of Virginia and graduated with a B.A in Drama, in 1992. That's when she decided to make her way to Chigaso's famed Second City.

While working at a YMCA to support herself, Tina auditioned for the more selective Second City Training Center and was eventually accepted into the year-long program. In 1995, NBC was looking for new talents for Saturday Night Live, called upon Second City and were impressed by Tina. She went to New York and met the executive producer who immediately hired her. It was Adam Mckay, a good friend of Tina's who insisted that she would be hired to write the sketch comedy series.

After a few years writing for Saturday Night Live including parodies such as Kelly and The View and Live with Regis, Fey made history by becoming the first female to occupy a head writer position in the show's history. In addition to that, Tina made her screen debut hosting "Weekend Update" opposite Jimmy Fallon. Fay made her movie-acting and screenwriting debut with 2004's Mean Girls, an adaptation of Rosalind Wiseman's novel.

In 2000, Tina Fey married Jeff Richmond, a director at Second City and they currently live in New York City.

30 Rock is an American TV show produced by Tina Fey. The series depict the life behind the camera of the fictional comedy series TGS with Tracy Jordan. The pilot episode first aired in 2006 and was originally about of a head writer who has to manage her relationship with the show's executive producer.

In the first season Tina Fey starred as Liz Lemon the head writer of "TGS with Tracy Jordan". Jane Krakowski portrayed the spotlight seeking Jenna Maroney. Tracy Morgan acted as the loose star of TGS Tracy Jordan. Jack McBrayer played Kenneth Parcell, an obedient, young NBC pageboy. Scott Adsit portrayed Pete Hornberger, the a witted producer of TGS. Judah Friedlander starred as the childish, sarcastic writer Frank Rossitano. Alec Baldwin played the controlling, decisive executive Jack Donaghy.

During the second season, three guest-starring characters received star billing. Keith Powell portrayed the witty James "Toofer" Spurlock. Katrina Bowden acted as Liz's laid back, attractive assistant Cerie Xerox. Lenny Ross played Josh Girard, an immature TGS cast member.

Tina Fey hosts post-strike 'Saturday Night Live'

NBC's "SNL" producers have declared that the late-nighter will return with co-anchor of "Weekend Update" Tina Fey at the helm. The show died with Tina Fey as head writer, and it is finally making its comeback.'SNL' is one of the first TV shows to recover from the painful writers strike.

Their last episode, featured an amazing skit about a Clinton Halloween party, in which the real Barack Obama guest-starred-in a Barack Obama mask.

The show is slated for four consecutive weeks of production and Ellen Page, star of 2007's Oscar-nominated "Juno" has been confirmed to host "Saturday Night Live" the following week.

Having just won numerous accolades, including a Screen Actors Guild Award, Tina Fey is on top of her game as an actor, writer, producer and thought-provoker.

While Conan O'Brien's "Late Night" and the "Tonight" show had eventually returned without writers "Saturday Night Live" is so dependent on its writers that it couldn't return without them. SNL was the only late-night comedy show to go AWOL for the whole strike.

Sources close to the show expect Tina's brainy sitcom 30 Rock to return for an additional 5-10 episodes this season.

Tina Fey has garnered a large number of accolades throughout her career. Fey's popular tv show "30 Rock" has been a critical success winning numerous major awards as well as achieving the top ranking on a multitude of critics' best of 2006 and 2007 lists. Her accolades include a Peabody Award, the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Comedy Series, the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series and the Producers Guild of America Award for Producer of the Year. Tina Fey was also nominated alongside Alec Baldwin in the Outstanding Lead Actress/Actor in a comedy series. The 30 Show received four Creative Arts Emmy Awards. "30 Rock" star and producer Tina Fey had a meeting with the press and spoke about the post-strike comeback of her award-winning but under-watched Tv show. Tina told the press who she'd want to see guest-starring on the series. "I still want Oprah to play my best friend"

Putting Oprah on the show would mean a gigantic ratings boost for the NBC show.
It seems that Oprah found out about the request and actually expressed interest.

After having expressed her wish at getting the powerful show-hostess and world-famous philanthropist on the show, Tina decided she'd also like to have Peter Dinklage who also starred in 'The Station Agent'

After seeing how great was Britney's guest stint on How I Met Your Mother, Fey talked about Britney Spears: " We would love to work with Britney"

The series, notorious for developing unforgettable roles for guest appearances, hopes to have the likes of Lorne Michaels Amy Poehler and Mariah Carey on for what's left of this season.

Tina Fey Hates Paris Hilton

Tina Fey, former head writer of SNL, made her Paris declaration on Howard Stern's Sirius Satellite radio show in November, 2006. Tina opened up about what a terrifying experience it was to have Paris Hilton as a "piece of sh-t" co-host. Fey said that Paris is self-important and dumb. Tina dished on how self-centered and immature Paris was when she appeared on Saturday Night Live, annoying the crew and cast and coming with silly suggestions for the sketches.
Fey recounts the many times Paris did not agree with the the script and locked herself in the dressing room.

Paris did express her desire to make fun of the girls she dislikes. "She would say 'I want to play Jessica Simpson, I hate her'," Tina revealed.

Tina said that, never in her life, had she felt so powerless to act as she did when she was with Paris.

When the discussion turned to Hilton's looks, Tina said about her that she looked like a transvestite up close and also complained that wads of Hilton's "Barbie hair" were found all over the place.

According to Fey, Paris was so self-obsessed she wouldn't ask a personal question to any of the cast members. She only asked one to Seth Meyers, about the ethnicity of another cast mate.

In addition to that, Tina dishes more on Matthew McConaughey."He doesn't smell great."
